Terms of Service
Last updated: October 30, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to this website (app.ozdy.net) and to every app and tool published under the name ozdy (“ozdy”, “we”, “us”), including ozdy Drive Sync. By using an ozdy app or this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
1. About ozdy
ozdy is a personal, non-commercial hobby project of Özgür Duyar. It is not a company. ozdy apps are built primarily for personal use and are provided free of charge, without any service-level commitment or support obligation.
2. The apps
ozdy Drive Sync is a Google OAuth application that rclone uses on your own computer to access your Google Drive. rclone is independent open-source software that is not made or controlled by ozdy; it is provided under its own license and documentation. ozdy Drive Sync does not run on ozdy servers, and ozdy does not receive your files or credentials. How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Your responsibilities
- You must comply with the Google Terms of Service and any other Google terms that apply to your use of Google Drive.
- You must comply with rclone’s license and use rclone according to its documentation.
- Use ozdy apps only with accounts and data that you own or are authorized to access, and only for lawful purposes.
- Do not misuse ozdy apps: do not attempt to extract or reuse the app’s OAuth client credentials in other software, abuse Google API quotas, interfere with Google’s services, or use the apps to infringe the rights of others.
- You are responsible for your own data. Sync, move and delete operations can change or remove files; keep backups and use rclone’s
--dry-runoption to preview changes before running them. - You are responsible for keeping your device and your rclone configuration (which contains your access tokens) secure.
4. Availability and changes to the apps
ozdy may change, suspend or discontinue any app, or this website, at any time and without notice. Access to Google APIs may also be limited or revoked by Google. You can stop using an app at any time and revoke its access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
ozdy apps and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. ozdy does not warrant that the apps will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that data will not be lost or damaged.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ozdy and Özgür Duyar will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, ozdy apps or this website, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
7. Privacy
Your use of ozdy apps is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how Google user data and other information are handled.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use ozdy apps after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
